A person who stole Christmas presents from the back of a car has been given a suspended jail sentence.
Adin Sieley, 22, of no mounted tackle, appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court on Thursday, February 26, the place he was sentenced to eight months imprisonment, suspended for 2 years.
Sieley pleaded responsible to 11 counts of theft from a motorcar and 20 counts of interfering with a car, dedicated in Swaffham, Ashill and North Pickenham in November and December 2019.
The courtroom heard how in a single day on November 10 and 11, Sieley tried a quantity of doorways to automobiles in Swaffham, stealing property from autos which had been insecure in Minnow Close, Salhouse Drive, Sutton Road, Hickling Close and Meadowsweet Road.
On November 26, simply 15 days later, autos had been focused in Hillside, Houghton Lane and Church Lane at North Pickenham, with money and Christmas presents stolen from one car which had been left unlocked on a personal driveway.
The closing sequence occurred between December 26 and 27 in Ashill the place autos parked in The Oakes, Fir Park, Watton Road and Acacia Avenue had been focused with property stolen.
Sieley was recognized as a suspect by CCTV enquiries and arrested and later charged with 31 offences.
